Questions
before you decide
How do I choose a HOMERS home for living or rental?
Start with how you plan to use it. For your own home, consider your family, separate bedrooms, storage and workspace. For rental, consider the number of guests, privacy and ease of cleaning. Compare models and layouts and discuss your preferred specification with the HOMERS team.
What should I check on my plot before ordering a home?
Check access and unloading conditions, the terrain, information needed for the foundation design, and options for utility connections. Also check the requirements for positioning the home and the intended use of the plot. Share this information with the team so they can determine the work needed for your project.
How do I choose a specification for living or rental?
Compare Basic, Comfort and Full House using the detailed list of work and equipment. For your own home, decide what you need before moving in and what you are willing to arrange separately; for rental, consider what is needed to welcome guests and maintain the home. The final specification should be set out in your individual proposal.
How is the total project budget determined?
The budget depends on the model, specification and conditions on the plot. Check separately whether the foundation, delivery, installation, utility connections and additional fit-out are included in the proposal or ordered separately. For a rental home, also consider the cost of preparing it for guests. The price and schedule are determined individually.
Does HOMERS guarantee a return on a rental home?
No return is guaranteed. The result depends on location, demand, occupancy, accommodation rates and management and maintenance costs. Compare several income and cost scenarios for your own calculations. If you are planning a multi-home development, see our hotel solutions as well.
How do I get started and arrange a viewing?
Prepare your layout preferences, information about the plot and how you plan to use the home: for yourself, for rental, or both. Contact HOMERS to discuss models, arrange a viewing and receive the next steps.
